About us:
LAE – Laboratory of acoustics and electroacoustic was born thanks to the union of three supporter companies and the convention with the University of Parma. LAE targets to become a reference for all the companies that intend to perform activities of research and development in acoustics and related sciences. LAE provides services of consultancy and research in the field of acoustics and electroacoustics.
LAE concentrates its activity on the development of new products and new measurement technologies. The target is not to execute default tests, applying technical standards and normatives for general purpose, LAE aims instead to study to obtain better processes, develop new products and solve specific situations.
LAE’s supporter companies:
AIDA is the first “spin-off” company from the University of Parma, which is a minoritary associate. It was founded by prof. Angelo Farina, other associates are past and present day PhD students, researchers and scolarship winners.
Audiolink is the italian distributor of some of the most prestigious audio and light equipment in the world, it was established in 1984. It installed audio and light systems in universities, churches, stadiums, cinemas, ships, meeting rooms, television studios and many more.
Genesis Acoustic Workshop designs, researches, develops and carries measurement activities in the fields of acoustics, electroacoustics and vibrations. Different specialist acoustic engineers from the University of Parma founded it, the workshop still collaborates with the industrial engineering department, expecially with prof. Farina.
